Took this in part exchange for one of my white 20v sports (the one that was for sale in

only the 10 owners. ( a few same names and family)
Had cambelt, tensioner, w/pump, tappets?, camchain at 99k. Just had 2x strut top mounts, 2x droplinks, 1x track rod end, rear caliper. previous owner changed oil every 5k. Undertray present.
all rusty fuel pipes repaired, remaining sand blasted and waxoyled . fuel pump mounting bobbins replaced and fuel filter, area round rear recessed axle mounts sand blasted and treated.
4 recent tyres, very nearly mint speedlines, decat and full stainless exhaust.
Now the bad bit the paint although very shiny has faults in laquer. Only noticable when you study paintwork , bonnet got microblistering and wings just on the turn, spare red nearside wing,
Mechanically this car is superb paint condition lets it down. Just MOTED it had 3 advisories Fuel pipe repair rubbing (repaired) Tyres edgy ( tested on old rims) and rear discs rusty (sandblasted but will nead a set in a about 2k)

Would love to keep but have 4 others ( think i9 have an audi 90 addiction)

Replaced missing front bumper grille and broken N/S broken fog light glass. always starts and runs perfect even from cold. Can be cheaper if wheels taken off and an old set put on.

This is a really nice car, I spent a while looking around it last week and it definately makes me miss my old 20v q sport. Hope someone gives it a good home as it deserves it

Default audi 90 20V

Guys,
This was my car and my daily driver for 2 years. It was bought from Chris in Gloucestershire to replace my identical 90 20V that was rear ended in 2008 that I owned for 10 years.
It is a fabulous car and runs superbly - I love it to bits but fell in love with the white 90 20V Sport which qwerty had restored over a 6 month period. So that is now my daily driver. I also have an as new 90 20V quattro so I am no stranger to these fabulous cars and like Steve have a strange attraction to them.

It is faultless in all respects except for the lacquer peel on the roof and slight blistering on the paint on the bonnet. Other than this, the bodywork is very good and shines beautifully. It looks amazing since querty has worked his magic with the electric mop and polish. I lived with the minor paint issues for 2 years and people were still impressed with its appearance (it is 21 yrs old!)
Mechanically it is superb. I changed the oil & filter every 6 months or 5000 miles with Quantum Synta oil (I have averaged 8000 miles per year for the last 2 years) and it doesn't use a drop of oil between oil changes. The performance of the 5 pot 20 valve motor is just as it should be - it feels like it has a turbo when the revs rise above 4000 rpm and that 5 cylinder warble is just brilliant. If you drive it gently as I mainly have, it returns 30-35 mpg so is surprisingly economical but use the performance and it is thirstier but still better than my quattro.
The interior is very good too.
So if anyone is looking for a good cheap car which needs nothing spending on it, this is the one. Add to that statement that this is the desirable 20 valve 5 cylinder and it is a no brainer.
Someone is going to get a bargain at £900 especially with a full MOT!!
Go for it...........

Default Its gotta go .

Well after a couple of sniffs ,i,ve still got it. As we all know times are hard at moment. So even though it pains me to say it , the only thing left to do is break it. I can use lots of the bits myself, will give it another week or two. So let me know what bits are needed and i will see how much interest there is ..

(i am just WAITING for the wrath of the "don't hold us to ransom" brigade out there to voice their disgust at such a consideration as "threatening" to break a lovely old audi like this - look out!!)
