I like to think I have a broad sense of humour - not easily offended, and like a good laugh (quite often at other peoples' expense
). But - is it just me, or did anyone else find last night's 'The Big Fat Quiz of 2011' complete and utter crap ?If it wasn't for David Mitchell and Eddie Izzard (and the occassional one-liner from Jimmy Carr), it would have been even more unbearable. I normally have a bit of time for David Walliams - I think he writes and does some good stuff, but for chrissakes don't put him on another panel show. And as for Miranda Hart, if she's supposed to be one of the UK's top comediennes, then God help us. She made me cringe. I know, I know - I didn't have to watch it ...... Anyway, rant over. Just thought I'd share it. |

Izzard yes; you've got to admire a non-athlete than runs all those marathons to benefit others.
Carr is too glib and believes himself to be funnier than he is. Walliams I admire for the same reason as Izzard, but surely was at his peak with Little Britain? |

Try swmbo's sense of humour;
On our wedding night I stripped off and stood in front of her and, sweeping my hand from the direction of my head towards my fett, said "all this is yours!". Eyeing me slowly up and down, her eyes alighted on my Johnson and she said "have we worn THAT much away already?". |
