Red face Left Hand Drive Driver Seat

Hi All,

Here is a strange question, does anyone have a driver side seat for a left hand Coupe GT?

The reason behind this is I want to put the height adjuster on the passenger side as well as the driver side.

If it possible to change just the mechanism then if some one has that spare it will do me just fine.

Just a thought, aren't the adjusters always in the middle, ie driver's seat to left and pax to right, because there is room to put your arm between the seats to use them? If you have it against the side of the car it'll hardly be usable.

Nope height adjusters on the GT are on the outside of the seat and because of the door bin you can only access them with the door open......they are a PITA especially when the missus gets in and adjusts everything before she sets off ......

The adjust I am on about is only on my driver seat, I put my right hand down the side of the seat and pull the lever up and the seat drops or raises in height.

So was thinking if I can get the same but in the left hand drive driver seat I can then do the same on the passenger side of my car.

Took a look at both my GT's today and on both cars the passenger and drivers seats are height adjustable. It may be becuase my GT's are later models (87 & 88).

Getting a later seat like mine might be easier to find than a LHD driver seat.

Hope that helps?
