Another little trick is to grind the chamfer off the very end of the driver to create a sharp edge. The the driver will scrape the rust off as you tap it in. You can pull it out, get rid of the rust, and tap it in again.

you can also try to hit the head of the hex bolt from the side, give it a few hard knocks then hammer the driver in and off they come.

the other option is a set of these
http://www.uktools.com/irwin-5pc-bol...s-p-11525.html You'll need new bolts afterwards but sounds like you need them anyway

I use these things as hammer-on sockets - no idea what they're called: http://www.isham-research.co.uk/quat...ges/socket.jpg But they're only 1/4" drive - even the 3/8" one won't go on. Not very good for an undoing torque often over 120Nm. |

Job done N/S bolts no problem, O/S had to resort to angle grinder!! so thats the brakes done for a while now,new discs and pads all round and of course new mounting bolts, vast improvment to braking!!!
Now to find where the gearbox oil dripping onto the front exhaust is coming from!! THE JOYS
