Default 1984 Coupe GT with Kamei Kit
Seller Type : Private
Vehicle Make : Audi
Vehicle Model : Coupe GT 2.1 FWD
Price : £1850
Location : Somerset
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook),Taxed,MOT'd

Right guys, ive only advertised it on here and not on ebay/Piston heads as i would like it to go to an enthusiast on here

ive priced it for what i would let it go for , no more , no less

a lot of people would have seen/read the time/money ive put into the car over the past year odd.

heres what work has been done to the car since i have had it

Head gasket
Inlet Gasket
Injector Collars Changed (along with o rings)
Spark Plugs
Fuel/Oil Filter
K&N Panel Filter
Door Pockets fitted
New ISV fitted (two spares)
Welding done for MOT (boot floor and sills)
Kamei Rear spoiler repainted
Gearbox linkage refitted (no lose gearchanges)
Rear speakers fitted
brand new radiator fitted
2 x track rod ends
1 x new wishbone
1 x new ball joint
4 x new shocks
40mm lowering springs fitted
Full undersealed
all suspension arms painted and laquered
4 x new toyo T1R's
ATS 15" alloys fitted (repainted in silver)

The car has been fitted with a Kamei Body kit which includes front & rear bumper aprons, side skirts, boot spoiler & bonnet fins

the car has only done about 3000 miles in my time of ownership as its spent most of its time being tidied up by myself and is now on approx 170k miles , it burns no oil and uses no water, the gearbox is also very quiet, with it only being a little notchy into 2nd gear when cold. but is perfect once warm

i dont really want to sell her , but i know full well that once the baby arrives i wont have the time/money to work on it to get it to the standard i want and would prefer it to be enjoyed and used than be a "Barn find" in 3 years time

heres the bad points

Rocker Gasket is leaking,
could do with a ball joint on the OSF
lumpy when cold
drivers door has a crease in it
passenger window needs new motor due to bolts shearing

Good points

you will probably never see another GT with the same kit on the road
good strong engine
tidy interior
rust free body (including sills & windscreen pillars)
rare kamei kit
new tyres
long MOT
most of the work has been done for you , just a few finishing bits to get her perfect
the headlights/grille/tail lights are probably worth £500 alone

the car goes very well and sounds really nice, it can be driven as a rolling resto (ive been driving it a lot due to the TD5 being horredously unreliable)

anyhow if you are interested please ring me on 07877 853201 or send me a PM

heres a few more pics, some new, some old

Someone who loves German cars enough to refresh this rarity NEEDS to have something in the barn.
What's to replace her?

nothing sadly, not for the forseable future,

with a baby on the way and the TD5 going, a BMW 330d will be on the drive with the Mrs' A3 TDi and thats it
