Seals are available. Couple of quid TPS. If you need seats as well, it depends on which you need as to how readily available they are.
Solid lifter ones are available from TPS. Shimmed head ones, are NLA and TPS, will try and convince you, that you don't know what you are on about, if you want the shimmed ones, telling you, your engine MUST be non standard!!...

These are the two types fitted.

The longer ones fit the shimmed head, the smaller ones on the right are what TPS will supply till the cows come home and will tell you they are the only ones available anywhere, which is BS.
The part numbers are

063133555 for the short ones and add an A at the end for the long ones.

The short ones are the same as the Porker 924 and the long ones available here. Hope this helps!

from what I've read, the hardest part , once you have the seals, is pulling out the injectors???

Piece of cake to remove.

Soak the injector with WD40 and let it run down the injector hole . Put kettle one and have a cake. Then you need a big long screwdriver. Screwdriver face placed just under the corner of the injector nut and carefully lever the injector up and out. May be a bit stiff to start off but they will just pop out no problem.

I usually use wrench of appropriate size, unlike the screwdriver it won't slip off. At least it does the trick with KE-jetronic injector seats. And for the KE-jetronic injector seats, the hardest thing is to get a seat with new o rings back into manifold

Just run that past me again? How does the wrench of the appropriate size assist in pulling/levering out the injector, with the lines still attached? Presumably you fit the wrench around the injector nut and don't lever it up from underneath using the flawed screwdriver method?... Am I missing a trick here and needlessly putting myself at risk of injury by misuse of an inappropriate tool?!

I've also thought of another way, to avoid injury with an in appropriate tool. In fact it avoids any use of a tool completley and relies on ones own inbuilt human cunning. Carried out swiftly and without hestitation, this one works a treat.

Hold the fuel line firmly in your hand as near to the injector as possible, anywhere topside of the inlet manifold is fine. Tell the injector that after 3, you are going to pull sharply on the line, breaking the resistance between the seal and the seat, ( try and be casual as you inform it of your intention so as not to arouse its suspicions that it's all an elaborate lie). Then, pull on 2, thereby taking the injector seal by suprise and not giving it an opportunity to brace itself and fight back.. hey presto! Out comes the injector!!

apparently there is a proper tool to do this but how often does one expect to take off injecyors?
So far never in 27 years but the first time may be very close!

Wouldn't surprise me! There seems to be a special tool for everything these days!!....some required without a doubt and some designed to empty your pocket, be used once as you say, then lay in the bottom of your toolbox with the ancient, dirty, flattened spark plug box and rusty bolt, that you can't bring yourself to throw away!
