Default Thinking of buying a new computer

I'm thinking of buying a new computer and as I'm probably going to spend a while in hospital I thought about the new I-Pad. Has anyone got one? or any other ideas

It's not a necessity, and no one can give a good reason for actually buying one, but it is the single most used item I own!
Use it to catch up on forum gossip, news, play games, read books and magazines, organise your diary, send and receive emails, updated Facebook, and I've uploaded about a dozen videos of my favourite films and about 200 albums so with the iPad, I can't really get bored.
Also have loads of issues of Retro cars and Performance VW as well as a few books, and JJ did mention that you can use it to look at something called porn???
