Default 80 Quattro

Spotted parked on a drive in leeds, an 85/86 80 quattro in alpine white looking a bit sorry for itself with a flat tyre and odd coloured n/s wing and bonnet.
looks like 5 cylinder as can see cambelt cover straight beehind grill, standard multispoke alloys and showing 265 000 miles, and the piece de resistance rear window saying quattro in the heated window element.
I have knocked on the door a couple of times but to no avail, will try again over the weekend, would make a good project.

I'll see what happens with this one at the moment mate, it's only a couple of miles from my house so only £20 to get it moved. Got to get someone to answer the door yet which is prooveing a bit of a challenge.

Hi Joe,

If you are interested, you will need to move reasonably quickly, or the pikeys will get it!

Put a spot about your own similar car (even if fictitious!) in the note, or ask Coxy if you could use the "CA" header as an intro?

If you are keen, go for it!

Got an answer today, and it isn't for sale, bummer.

Had a good chat with the guy, he has owned the car for a couple of years, the reason behind the odd coloured panels was due to a bump and the parts were removed off his other quattro which had been written off, rear end shunt. He hopes to start working on the car again in a few weeks.
I also told him of this forum and what was on it and he was interested.
