What pictures and since when have you needed an owners permission to take photographs in a public place?

yes i know no pics were posted, half of my comments were towards other posts/threads that have been posted in the spotted section!...i should have been clear, as to when do you need
permission to take pics in public...true, but when the sole purpose of taking the pics is to show the car off... instead of...say it was some building/scenery etc that you trying to capture and the car happened to be at that spot! fair enough! or if its for sale, thats cool

by law you might not have done anything wrong but you might not get the same response
from the owner/s each time!

happy days

IMHO I think as long as the car is in the public domain it's not a problem. Identifying it to a specific home address or driveway's a bit off side though.

You want to borrow a rallyrep for a week, you'll find people taking photos of it everywhere (even whilst filling it up with fuel)...

Eh?

I don't get the "blanking out number plates" thing.

It is a public place, a car is there. How can someone get "carjacked" because of it????

Who would want to go and steal a car worth a few £hundred after reading about it on here?

I have always found the blanking number plate thing a bit odd too tbh. Every day I drive round thousands of people can see it if they want.
