Default Blimey - Ebay

There is a 76 LHD Audi 100 on there at the mo (not surfing at work honest!), the bloke wants £5K !!! Mind you he does look to be from a Eastern European Country and having worked in Russia they are all mad!

Always makes me chuckle when I see some-one chancing their luck, I wouldn't mind but it doesn't even look a good resto. Hope it makes someone happy!

More mad e-bay items?

I presume it's the blue one that's in Poland at the moment??

It's been on Classic Car Sales for a couple of weeks.
There's also another 100 from the same era for around the same money on there as well.

Scene tax included on both counts!!

Here's the other one. It's earlier and it's a 2 door but at £6950, it makes VW's look cheap!!!

and here's the '76 on the same site

1. At least you could say that the 2 door 100 is reasonably rare, well on these shores at least!, i'm tempted by one of these. There was a really nice marathon blue one on German ebay a couple of weeks ago, went for circa 700 not 7000!
2. Now that 200 turbo looks a real bargain, basically a ur-quattro with 4 decent seats. If I had the space, what a winter hack. They cost a fortune new
3. Poor old coupes, reckon 600-800 tops even for a great one. When I was a young trainee one of the partners at the surveyors I worked at had a new one. He let me borrow it once to go down to portsmouth from london to measure a shop up. I thought I was the dogs danglees!! (I did have a vw beetle 1300 at the time) I lusted after that car, until that is I got to drive the directors Daimler double 6, I shat myself!! great memories. I really like these coupes, but actually prefer the slightly later facelifted model.

Ha Ha see your just like me!, back from a quick bath and back looking at it. From the crap size photos it looks really clean. A set of tires would cost more than that!, what a track monster, if I remember at the time they were some mad price like 35k new, the equivalent of a A8 4.2 at the time.
I know I have a phscological problem, I've a real weakness for huge saloons and always think, I could afford to run one of them. I've caught myself looking at Rolls Shadows recently convincing myself yep that's me, do my own maintenance, only use at weekends etc etc.
