Default Buying a new rad for my b2...

Buying a new rad for my b2 and I am going to put in a 1.8 soon, is the 1.6 an 1.8 rad the same part number?

Or is the 1.8 bigger?

Does anyone know the part numbers for either?

Both carb, both circa 1981.

Thanks
Phil

scratch that, neither GSF or a rad specialist can get one for me anyway,

Mines going to the rad specialist to get looked at for mending, and if it cant be mended, re-cored. Which sounds expensive!! lol

My 1986 B2 80CL has a 1.6 and that is smaller than the 1986 80 Sport with the 1.8 engine.

Well maybe on the 1.8 I'll have to aid cooling in other ways if this one doesn't keep up, after repairing this one I can't afford to change it again!! Lol

Oil cooler maybe if it runs hot. Anyways that's all a long way off yet.

Great place anyway, would recommend them: Lincolnshire Radiators.
