Default Seat compatibility,for 90q B2 type 85???

How easy would it be to put apair of A100/A6 (C4) Recaro Front Seats,in my car?
Would I have to fabricate the runners?
Thanks,Karl.

If they are genuine recaro look on their website for the right frames.

They aren,t for the red q90,want to keep that original.
My blue one was nearly in the grave,so thats a different matter.
The blue q90,is still on hold. It,s kept in my Brother's unit and he told me to down tools, until he moves into a bigger unit. It,s been months now and he still hasn,t moved. He works away,so it,s hard to organise anything.
In the mean time,I,ve came to a holt.
The latest thing, was the shutters on the unit have packed in and he,s away so can,t get them fixed. That,s why my car wasn,t gleaming on Saturday.(Couldn,t use, unit.)
These things, are sent to try us.
I wish,I could afford my own unit.

move to swindon - £40 a month for a secure unit apparantly.

and the 100 seats are wider, easiest thing to do is source the seats, then I put a thread up on s2forum saying how to swap the bases to s2 ones (you keep the height adjustment) then last thing that would need to do is the outside leg needs grinding off and moving inwards.

Each seat is around 30 mins to an hour max to do, its not too hard and you will be rewarded by some very comfy seats that hold you in when chucking it around the twisty bits.

Just keep an eye on ebay for people breaking 2.8 v6 audi 100 quattro's as they come in them and most of the v6's, I picked my last pair up for £30.

With rewelded mounts of course will fit. Physical dimensions of all audi seats are +/- the same - after all, all are designed to be used by human beings
