I couldnt afford a fancy BMX so i got hold of a couple of old racer frames and made my own.

Went bloody good too! Never broke, never let me down and didnt cost much either!

Same here. But then I eventually got hold of a second-hand Mag Burner BMX, and was over the moon!

didn't get my first BMX till I was 25!!
It was an old racer with cowhorn handlebars when I were a lad, and by the time BMX's first came out, I was in to boobs not bikes!!
