been driving the 80CL today....

You may have seen the fuel pipe on my 100 quattro avant has split, hence I had to tax the 80CL and use that for commuting yesterday and today.

50 miles each way, down the A4 (lovely road) through Wiltshire and Berkshire.

Only 1.6 but fitted with a Weber, gave a BMW Z4 a run for his money today, he just got away up a hill. He slowed down for the corner at the top though! Wuss!

It is nice driving a light weight car, with no frills, simple yet reliable. And it is a talking point at work too!

Might fit the radio back into it too!

Sounds great

I get bored of poeple at working talking about how they miss the centre armrest in their new company car or how confusing their iPod interface is. All I need is an AM/FM push button cassette player, a 4 +E box and enough grunt to spin the wheels in 3rd in the wet from my little 1.6

It's nice to stand out from the crowd.

Our 2 dailys have been off the road for 10 days now so the 80CD has been weapon of choice this week! Love every minute of it! The missus drive it home from club last night as well an even she was impressed with it!
