kv qc queries

i've got an '86 kv qc,at 2k rpm it doesn't run well at all,jerking about but not misfiring.above 2k rpm it runs normally.it only does this under load

.any suggestions?
also,where is the fuel filter located?

My B2 80 Sport is running rough at the bottom end too.
I haven't really had a chance to investigate yet. I have cleaned the metering unit and throttle body (carefully!) with carb cleaner and that has made it a fair bit better. But still not right.
I've also noticed a fuel leak from the back when the ignition/fuel pump is on. Not had a chance to repair yet. Hoping this will be problem- starved of fuel at low revs and light throttle. Would make sense...
Have you found anything?
