Default Broadband service?

Opinions please on which one is the best cheapest service.

Sick of being buttf*cked by the rapists at virgin media.

Either they go or i go - offline.

Avoid BT at all costs....

Here is a good site which can give you a lot of information on broadband.

http://www.thinkbroadband.com/

I use Zen you do pay a bit more but in the two homes I have lived in the first being with marginal broadband it was always rock solid....

We've got Virgin Broadband with Cable TV, can't fault it... And on the one occasion we had problems with the V+ box, they had it sorted same day.

I use the Internet a lot...USED to be with Tiscali (now TalkTalk) but they were too expensive and not very good at upgrading current customers.

Soooo...I went over to Orange broadband and it's excellent. £12 a month for broadband only and the service seems good and Internet is nippy!

been using Virgin (NTL) for years now with no problems. Tell them your gonna leave and they fall over themselves to give a better deal to the point where we hardly pay anything

Was about to suggest this. Been with Virgin for over 2 years now, had cable and TV in one flat here, then went onto ADSL with them in our new house. Everytime they have mentioned service charges or some other cost, Mrs Dan has said I'm not paying that and they have made a better deal for us. When we went onto ADSL (through the phone) we had a problem with the modem not being delivered, then there was a delay in putting the internet down the phone line, I don't think we've been charged for Internet for a few months as compensation after being obstinate towards them!

oh I had real nasty problems with AOL who continued to take money out of my account for an old internet service I had years ago. Personally they will never have another penny out of me ever again. Long story which isn't for here but nothing got resolved until I threatened them with legal action over fraudulent behaviour with my credit card
