audi 80 1976 dash!!
looking at gregs audi 80 on the weekend at ultimate dubs and was amazing loved it!!
i was just wondering does anyone know where i can get a new dash from because mite has split in the normal common place in the centre!! will pay any money or can it be repaired mayb?? |

Hi mate - really common problem on these, in fact I have only seen a couple where they have not cracked!! There is a forum in Germany where they were doing a group buy to have new dashes made but that would obviously be LHD. Its gonna be a case of finding an old one that has been kept in a garage where the sun can't get to it. If it helps, the same dash was used in the facelift from 77-79 so there is a wider scope for finding one.
I'm just gonna have mine patched up and covered in vinyl or flocked I think.

Same dash in the series 1 Passat but chances of finding one those in a scrapper are pretty slim as well.

they sell a special plate that you put over your dash....
but i never saw it for a RHD.... good luck guys  |
