Hi ,
Both windows on the passenger side are not working but the driver side ones are working fine . There doesn t appear to be any fuses for the windows. Any ideas greatly received before I attempt to dismantle the door cards and look at the motors / regulators. |

It's been a while since I've had an Audi so all the following is from memory...
I believe the fuses are thermal trip and self resetting inside the relay. The first place I'd look for windows not working on a C3 is inside the door jamb bellows, starting with the drivers door... the wiring for the passenger side goes through here to the drivers door buttons. The way it's wired means that if the earth on the drivers door button for the passenger window down is open circuit, the button in the passenger door for down won't work either. The constant flexing of the wires eventually cracks the plastic wire insulation and allows damp to penetrate the copper strands eventually causing them to break. You'll need to peel back the wrap on the loom inside the bellows to check, replace the affected sections by piecing in a new section of wire. If you have a volt/continuity meter, you can check for continuity or voltage as required using the diagrams on my website here.
