Default What Did You Learn To Drive In ??

Don't think this has come up before, but what did you learn to drive in.

My Dad taught me to drive in his red Peugeot 305 GL Estate, registration DHD348Y, his second 305, they were great cars to drive, I'd still love to find a good 305 GTX today, and then had 7 driving lessons and passed in a Austin Metro City FFS !

Started off in a automatic mini cluman estate(J reg)and ended in a Scirroco Gls(Mk1).
The automatic gave me road sense, which made it easier when I got in the manual GLS.

A Midnight Blue Mk2 Ford Cortina 1600 Estate with Lotus Cortins Steelies and hubcaps. GWJ829J. I took my test in a very early Magnum Grey Ford Escort Mk3 2 door NRR ???W.

And after passing, 2 months later, I hit a brand new Morris Ital LRB 5W and wrote the Cortina off...
