Question Ball joint dust cover.

My Audi Coupe (1985) type 85, 5 pot auto, has just failed a
MOT due to the offside lower suspension arm ball joint dust cover being excessively damaged, thus no longer preventing the ingress of dirt.

No problem in itself, but I do'nt seem able to find the part on Vagcat and my local supplier is only able to supply them in packs of six and then only if can supply the dust cover (boot) dimensions, which means taking it off first.

Can anyone point me to the correct place on vagcat or give me a suppler who will provide one of the correct part.

Many thanks, Haydn.

If it's the ball joint?I'd just get a new ball joint, cheap as chips.
Or is it,a CV boot split??

I hav'nt actually seen this but its not the CV boot and from the your answer can only be the ball joint, one of which I have anyway. Thank you.
