That's a very obvious and cheap fault to fix - it would really make me question the price. Adam Dixon's car is two grand cheaper and looks better to me. |

The steam cleaning in the engine bay has done nothing for the corrosion on the wastegate cap nuts/studs. In fact, the extent of corrosion evident on silly items in the engne bay tells me we are looking at something which has been tarted-up for sale. Rear wheelarches are a mess at the leading edge and where they meet the sill. History says MoT's go back to 2003. That's not nearly enough for me. Messed with by QST isn't everyone's cup of tea either but I have to be honest and say the brake upgrade is worthwhile..... Car is possibly worth half the asking price IMO but I'd steer clear all the same.
Seller seems to be more interested in BMW's and judging by the asking prices of the 635's I reckon there's always people willing to part easilly with cash for the wrong motor. ![]()

This car was on pistonheads a few weeks back for apron 14k iirc and sold with a few hours like most fairly priced and or good cars do, the shit tends to hang around for a lot longer

You can see little rust pits on the photos of the rear arches
Not worth 20K in a million years, would have to absolutely immaculate for that price. As you say, tarted up. |
