It's an Imp engine in an Imp.

Edit: hmmm, that's to easy, is it a fire engine pump engine in an Imp?

Could be a Hartwell Imp ?
The fire pump was also resposible for the Coventry Climax.

Coventry Climax engine it is and it sits in a very pretty Singer, in bright yellow which Coxy managed to capture in one of his pics yesterday.

( note to myself....need to make it more difficult )

Twin stromberg carbs, has a lucas ACR type alternator, fitted with an inertia type starter and uses a ballast type ignition.......

Yep that's the one, cute little thing...

But I shall endeavor to obtain some engine pics this coming weekend at Chatsworth and we shall see who knows their engines.
