80 Coupe rear bumper removal

The rear bumper on my Coupe is slightly damaged, the passenger side sticks out about 3cm, and needs to be pushed back as well. It seems as if a plastic bracket is broken on the side, which I probably could fix myself by melting. Any special instructions on removal of the bumper?Thanks.

Hi i had to remove mine on my 1993 80 saloon not sure if it the same but should be was very easy to remove.

remove two plastic pop rivet plugs in the wheel arch, remove two self tappers, remove circular cover cap in the black trim in front of the lock catch, remove the self tapper below it, remove four M10X100mm bolts in the boot floor pull back on the bumper, go round each side and pull back and down on each corner to unclip it and pull the whole bumper off.

Rod (Couperman on here) recently did this on his coupe, I'm sure he was able to buy the brackets from Audi, if yours are broken.
