Hi I have a 1988 90 Quattro fitted with 2226 KV engine it is in fine running order with 128 k on the clock and will probably be good for another 128K!! I also have a 1990 type 44 100 with the later 2309 NF engine that is being broken for parts,I intend keeping the engine as a spare.
What would be involved fitting the later engine? Would it run with the earlier injection system? or would I need to fit the later system.including the ECU,and any other components? Thanks Andy |

I dont want to change the engine, the other engine would just be a spare in case the original engine broke.
