I agree with you there Steve,309 GTi's were/are pretty cool cars....Way too TINNY tho for me....

And drive around in it playing Happy Mondays and Rave music wishing i was 18 again

Its a nice car but for me its in the wrong colour. It'd have to be in the Miami blue or Goodwood green for me to be interested.

I drove one about 20 years ago and it was a very decent drive, the steering was especially good responding well to any driver input.

great little cars i had a 1.9 gti , build quality terible great through the country lanes give a good audi a run for its money. but i had one when hot hatches were a nightmare to insure and i am an old git paid 3,500 pounds for one and the insurance for me then was 750.00 pound . Bart.
