Default Concours Mk3 'tina...

.....now, I like a clean original car as much as Ken, JJ, Pearlmars etc, and not just Audi's, but I don't get why people do this to such a nice car.

It's the £3000 hidden stereo install. It just does nothing for the car or the value.
I know it's been well done and well hidden but what's the point of it?

Period Pye or Longmill speakers and that's yer lot for me!

I like the concept and I would do it to one of my classics if I could be buggered - but i certainly wouldn't expect anyone else to pay me for it afterward! £10K!!

agree about the concept, it works for me as it's very subtle.

For me though it's the wrong dashboard. I love the earlier style dash with the deep cowled instruments. When I was a kid my mates Dad had a wonderful Mk3 Red GLX with a black vinyl roof and everyone on our estate (me included) thought it was the absolute dogs kahunas

nooo, gotta be a Mk1!

and if anyone can find me a Mustard yellow, Mk1 1600GT capri (1970/1), then please please let me know.
You'd make an old man very happy, (not me, but my dad) as he bought one back in 1971 (TUJ707J). Had badge bar and period rear louvred window blinds - nice touch dad!!

I know what you mean about the Mk 1 but at £2600 without even starting to haggle I reckon that Mk 2 makes a very nice little period Ford.

and look at this for a grand , I've got a sneaky guilty pleasure thing going on for these

Might as well put an ST24 engine in it... They've ruined it....
