Default Carb and jetting

I have a '75, 80 GL which currently has a Weber fitted onto it.
1. How do l know the engine size?
2. How do l identify which Weber l have?
3. Which jets do l need?
4. How do l maximise economy?
Currently, fitted on her is a "pancake" filter. Should l attempt to find original?

the engine should have the cc stamped on it or look at the log book, the carb should have it stamped on the side or a tag on it the carb should come jetted for the car if its the correct one for the car, the pancake filter is ok as long as you have an hot air feed from the exhaust to stop the fuel freezing in cold weather

This being a former student cab, when the uni books were removed, so where ALL the other books!

Have we no library on the forum with jetting guide perhaps?
