The Human League have been confirmed has having signed a muliple album deal with 'hip' label, Wall Of Sound. New material expected within the next three months, and I for one can't wait for them to get their Korgs and Rolands plugged in. Quality. Digging out my Human League vinyl right now.

Yeh, Phil Oakey was with Joanne Catherall from 1981 to 1990. He was then doing Susan Sulley in the mid 90s. As far as I know, they have always lived in Sheffield and never done the London bit.

They used to buy their equipment from my mate at Carslbro Sound in Mansfield...As did David Palmer who played drums for ABC. The Leagues album was the first on Cassette I ever bought. I used to listen to it full blast on my Sharp APSS Radio Cassette in my MK1 Mexico.
