This seems about right to me...I drive lots of new Peugeot & Citroen diesels - they all seem to take about that long (sometimes longer) to get upto temp.

When it was really cold last week I left a 59 reg Citroen C5 Tourer 2.0 HDi idling after a cold start and after 35 minutes the temp gauge had moved up 1 notch and the oil temp was still at zero.

Diesels normally take about three times as long as petrol engines to reach operating temperature. My T4 van takes at least 10 miles to reach above a third on the temp gauge, and only gets to optimum temp (about half way on the gauge) after about 20 miles. Left it running on the drive the other day to de-ice, after about half an hour the gauge was just starting to move, though the blower was emitting hotish air.

If it bothers you then try a hotter stat out of a petrol model perhaps, something I've been meaning to do with my van just not got round to it.
