Ur/CQ Roll Cage

As above really, tentatively looking for a Safety Devices or similar reputable manufacture Bolt in Roll Cage for a 1985 Ur/CQ shell.

You can get a Custom Cages 'works copy' weld-in cage made in CDS for about £500.

MUCH better than a bolt-in jobbie and a far superior fit for the car. However, it would obviously need a lot more work to install it.

I've said it before and I'll stick me neck out and say it again ' if you can get them to sell you one'? It get's to the point when it's simply like re-arranging the deckchairs on the Titanic........pointless.

It's Custom Cages T45 going into mine and delivery didn't take too long - though not 'next day' either. No problems getting them to sell me one - if that means the same as no problems for me buying one.

I had a few problems dealing with CC and was mightly put off after a friend recieved his 306 works recreation cage kit and most of it was a dreadful fit. Sent CC photos and they said there was no issues. Few people have had similar problems.

Ian if you struggle to find one, I might be able to organise having one made up fairly cheap as an alternative.

Guy making the strut braces for me says he can make roll cages too, i ve seen the pipe bender he uses, T45 too.
He s a bit slow tho, still waiting for the braces, he only ordered materials last week!
all sold now tho
