Default Scalextric

Who on here still has a set? even better who still has a blast every now & then??

since seeing James May @ Brooklands the other week I've had a real urge to set up a figure of eight and get spinning out!

Was impressed to learn about the 'traction control' on the newer cars in the form of magnets and the digital upgrade to allow extra cars/switching lanes etc!

I've got an old set in my mum's loft somewhere with some 70's F1 cars and mk3 Escorts, god knows if it'll work as its not seen light of day since around 1989/90 but gonna try and get over there next week and dig it out!!

Some cracking cars available too on ebay these days, I'm able to get versions of all the sportier cars ive owned as well as the 'drem garag' stuff
