Thats correct they for a non-qauttro coupe.
If its was for a Quattro then the rear shocks would have been inserts like the front (inside an audi strut, so you would have had another set of uprights similar to the front set (on the left of the picture). The set of shocks on left are definately for a type 85 trailing arm setup i.e. a GT or 2wd Coupe. Also wonder what the PCD of the front struts are if they are 100, then they will only fit earlier GT's |

Early GT's with 100PCD are Type 81's

I am sure I have seen 85/86 GT's (Type 85) 1.8's etc that have 100pcd 16 spoke ronals rather than the 108 PCD variety

I think Amanda is right but tbh I'm not entirely sure. The thing is they were fitted to a car that had flared ur style fibre glass arches fitted and this meant I couldn't be sure the arch ended where is used to originally. I have now updated the listing with the part numbers as supplied by the last owner maybe someone knows what they are? The only thing I can say is the drop did not seem excessive. Oh and thanks for sticking the link in. Cheers, Dan. |
