I'm watching it, but not going to bid. Just curious to see how the auction goes.

Have to agree, With no supporting documentation regarding who it was built/supplied by its all speculation, seems a little odd that 7/8 years after these cars where rally'd by the factory (having only had a very short campaign life) that someone would spend 10's of thousands of ponds having one built by sooty to compete agains smaller, faster, lighter cars that have a far better tecnological set up.

I'd hazard a guess that someone built it up themselves to have a bit of fun in, got the Rac logbook and gave it a damn good thrashing.

It is a standard road car with a botched fueling system and a roll cage, seller is very vague about its spec, pics lack any detail and its ID is masked so it cannot be checked against the rally journals for its history and to top it all of its the third time its been listed and now he's taking the pi55 by starting the bidding at 5k.

rant over..........

i have to pick up 1x100 q turbo, and 1x200q turbo, both in better nick, one is pearl[200] other is alpine,
if the club is after a project, the 200 has no interior but it is straight, and is rolling , get more info if required.
or is the rac ticket the important bit?
