10v turbo clutch

Hi,

I'm dropping the kv engine from my 1986 90 quattro and replacing it with a 7a engine from a later 90.

I'm sticking with the original gearbox which wont take the 7a flywheel and clutch.

I've already sourced the required flywheel, from a 10v turbo ( thanks quattrokid ) now I'm after a clutch to match this.

The kv clutch is far too small and the 7a clutch is only slightly to large in diameter. Sorry I don't have measurements, the clutches aren't to hand just now.

According to Eurocarparts it's a 240mm clutch I need for 10v turbo wr. 230mm for kv and 240mm for 7a.

I cant get the pressure plate to line up with the locators on the 10v turbo flywheel with the 240mm clutch I have.

I'm needing the friction plate ? and the pressure plate ? but not the bearing as the one off the kv is used.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Whats the problem! Did this conversion myself and fitted it to the old Cq gearbox with only a change to the 7A flywheel, removing the bearing and fitting a needle bearing instead. Have all articles on this swap if you would like them. Let me have your e-mail address in PM.
