Default Audi West London

Now if any of you have been going into London via the m4, as you would realise when on the flyover next to Mercedes (ha) Audi has nearly finished building its biggest Dealership. The Audi building has a few floors, the floor level to the flyover contains the new R8's, S5's etc while the floor above contains the classic Audi's in mint condition like the old Quattro's and their earlier racing cars. Now when I drive past it, it does tend to catch my eye and I do tend to slow down as do the other thousand drivers who drive past it, the other day driving into London i was stuck in traffic at Heathrow, this traffic carried right on till I reached the Audi building and after that...empty oh yer Mercedes next door got a bit jealous and are now trying to keep up with Audi by trying to build an extension, don't think it will have the same effect.

Anyone else seen this amazing building? Its worth a trot if your round London, giving one a chance to see the historic cars to the current day models.

Yep!, I spotted it (could hardly miss it really!) when I was travelling into London the other week. It was quite late in the evening, so a few floors were all lit up and contained some interesting stuff. Very impressive building it was too

Would love to go and see it, not just for the cars, but also the architect.

Now here's a thought, David Ingram has said that a lot of the Audi Collection will remain on permanent display at West London Audi as opposed to being locked away and would be happy for us to organise a trip there.

I'm fairly sure we could get enough people on here interested to make a day of it?
crooze down the M40. Then have a look around the showroom and have a good perve over some of the fine collection of cars that they have.

This is a list of the cars that Audi have in their collection, although I have no idea what's on display at WLA at the moment.

lol! I was reading about this building in one of the papers the other day. It stated that it is the biggest Audi Centre in Europe. It sounds very impressive, and a different world to the days of Ian Skelly in Liverpool when they had Audi 90s and 200s in the showroom with VW Polos and Golfs all crammed in together. I would be well up for a trip down to see it. My A6 Avant was a Dealer Demo car for one of the main London Audi Centres when new. If it was one for Liverpool Audi, it would have probably have had no options fitted!

In the last week, they have started to put the blinds down over the windows in the evening, its been quite nice to see them building this over the last months and then slowly filling it up with the cars, from the looks of it 90% of Audi UK toys are there

The Merc building is going to have to go a long way to beat it
