Putting up for sale my Audi Coupe quattro 1987.

My daily car for the last 6 years.

Zermatt silver
2 previous owners

standard Coupe spec includes

PAS, electric windows, central locking, electric mirrors, tilt sunroof, ABS brakes, Ronal 14" alloys, original Blaupunkt radio cassette

recent work since the turn of the year:

new windscreen
new windscreen seal
A pillar rust removed
new timing belt, water pump
new drive belts for power steering and alternator
new spark plugs, rotor arm, distributor cap
oil , filter change
rear diff seals
rear discs, pads
rear caliper nearside
driver seat repaired / overhauled with a good passenger seat cushion


MOT due next month. Will have 12 months MOT
tax expires Feb 2010

Service history and receipts since day 1

Full suspension rebuild in 2004 replaced the following parts

front

both headlamps
brake master cylinder
brake pressure regulator
handbrake cables
both rear wheel bearings
front offside wheel bearings
exhaust manifold gaskets
new rear exhaust section

good points

drives well with no known mechanical faults
good headlights with no reflector corrosion
no oil or water leaks
no damage to the interior - driver seat not worn at all
serviced every 6k miles / 12 months
all MOTs since 1997

bad points

lacquer peeling on rear offside arch (due to be fixed before sale)

Some rust in the following areas

bonnet leading edge
offside rear wheel arch (both rear arches were replaced around 5 years ago)
front wing arches
bottom of doors
oil leak from rear diff

That looks remarkably honest. Zermatt Silver is a rare colour on a Coupe quattro too. The rust only looks superficial too! Thumbs up from me Make someone a nice little, none to intensive project.

Hope someone off here buys that and I wish all adverts were as descriptive as this one, it does look completely honest. Full marks to Mikes2, for taking the time and effort to post such a very detailed ad and good luck with the sale.

After Audi's in the Park, my hankering after a Series 2 Sport or CD has been replaced by wanting a Coupe, hopefully next spring I'll be in a position to buy something like this as a project

If I hadn't just bought a new car I'd have bitten your hands off! Let me see if I can't stick CQ up for grabs in the next few days, it's nowhere near as good condition as this mind, as it needs lots of welding for MOT!

Let me know what your after for it, I know someone who's after one for a shorty rep so would not mind welding.

Cheers, I'll have a little thinky and get back to you, bought it for £750 and then replaced LOTS of bits (ss exhaust, new discs pads all round along with 17" alloys and tyres) obviously know I won't get the cost back! To busy playing with the new A6 toy at the moment!
