Default Dave Preece's old RR?
Seller Type : Trader
Vehicle Make : Audi

Price : £28995
Location : Tamworth, Staffs.
Additional Details : V5C (Logbook),Taxed,MOT'd

Just spotted this Nautic Blue ur quattro on Pistonheads. Sounds like it could very well be Dave Preece's old car (the one that had the plate H15 AUO).

Dunno. Does it have the diagnostic connectors in the driver's footwell?

But all joking aside - £29k is a HELL of a lot for a 20V when Adam Dixon's is extremely close to perfect and hasn't sold at £18k.

(It ought to, BTW.)

But as celebrated as David is, I doubt the presence of his bum on that seat would add £11k to the value.

Dave Preece's car was wearing the optional BBS' when he had it, and it was on (I think) 36k miles when he had it for sale approx 5 years ago for (I think) £16-17K. I may be wrong. I know the H15 AUO plate is now sat on Roger Galvin's Panther RR these days.

It rings a bell Ken, I will have a look in the morning when I get home. I've found the map book for the whole route from the hotel to MWS then on through the mountains. Now that's a get together that should be repeated along the same lines. I fancy Jays the man to get the ball rolling on that one!!
