Default My lovely Lime car dead. Can you help by viewing this pic?

Well,ok,we couldnt have made it to ADI this weekend due to funds. We at least did make it to Cosford the weekend before though, and loved it....

OK,I needed to fit a new offside track control arm yesterday. This was due to an idiot previously cross threading one of the securing nuts and not coming clean about it at a Tyre and Exhaust Centre.

I fitted the track control arm, stopped for lunch, then couldnt remember part of the order in which the assembly went back together.Alcohol was not involved in the lunch I might add!
Ive asked Ben at AV Performance, and he has said that if he remembers correctly the bracket goes in from the other way so the threads dont foul the pipes and rip them.
Sorry Ben,no offence but I just need some back up on this from others to be 100% sure.

Anyway, here is a pic of the rear of my engine bay.
Its a 2.6 V6.

You can see that the two threads with nuts on would have rubbed on the coolant hoses thus ripping a hole in them.Well, this is just what happened.Iam still 100% sure that the bracket which has the 2 threaded studs attached,of which you can see the 2 nuts on,was fitted this way on removal.

Thanks to Joe down at Audipartz in Hannington,Wilts,I have a hose coming for the car
See ebay Audipartz (plug over!).He breaks Coupes from 2.0 8v to S2 ABY all the time, and seems relatively unknown.

Can anyone help with this,as Im just getting all the help I can get.

Well, spent the morning re-fitting and just waiting for hose to turn up from Joe at Audipartz tomorrow.

Being lent a Mk2 MR2 for the week by a customer.
So,its back to the harsh, noisy, yet rear wheel drivey 90s fun till Friday.Glad its not ghey white n all!

I must say though, that I've not got her running yet,but its been time to get the jobs done I would otherwise have put off.Sals been in there with me too,its ace having a lass who shares the pash!

Im not quite sure how Barney will like a 2 seater for the week though. At least he cant foul the handbrake when on the move,as its down by the door on these eh!?
