Default Wanted Cheap Daily - ideally coupe

Ok I'm going to need a daily driver in the next few weeks or so. Ideally after a coupe 1989/90 onwards model (B3?) a V6 would be nice or perhaps an earlier 80 sport or similar.

Not got a huge budget at all, but intrested in anything under a grand.

What have you got folks?

Cheers
John

don't wanna point out the obvious John but use yer budget to get the Ghia on the road!!!!

Can't see anything wrong in using a Scooby engined Ghia as a daily!

Failing that, shove the scooby lump in the 356 and use that as a daily!

Lol it does seem a bit obvious, but unfortunately the ghia has to be sold as soon as possible to pay for the works on the house. maybe as a stop gap...no no bad idea.

356 as a daily? with this road salt?

I've gone off the idea of the sport, coupe is the way forward, power, comfort and cheapness but still looks respectable in the car park & turning up to meetings etc.

Cool cheers, a grand is right at the top of my budget (and prob a little over it) so i'll hold out for something a little cheaper first.
