Default Another dissapointing item from eBay!

Why does everything from eBay seem to turn up broken or is completely the wrong item?!! Bought a headlight on there (excellent reflectors and glass) and the clumsy twats at Royal Mail managed to smash the glass!

Obviously they don't understand how rare these parts are, but for me it's just a headache...need to get a refund and source another decent one (doubtful I will win another for the barginous £35 I got this one for).

ARSE BISCUITS.

I always ensure every item i send gets way in excess of any packing that youd think would be needed cos they just dont give a toss about what you send.

Thats a real shame as well, looked to be a good item.

Compo claim.

Even if the glass is knackered if you have a spare or just need to swop the backs over cause your reflectors are shot. Shove you existing glass in the dishwasher and it will come out like new. Pain in the arse though as they are getting rarer than a rare thing. I would have been more worried had the reflectors been damaged or the light back. Not good though either way I know.

Gutted.. bloody postoffice!

as for cleaning, i've not tried the dishwasher because we don't have one, but I cleaned mine in a plastic bowl in the sink by hand. just like i do with the breather pipes and pretty much anything else i can remove from the car and has dirt, grime, or oil on it.

Be careful with the glass tho! place something soft under where you're removing the glass from the headlight.

trust me, you will kick yourself if it slips out your hands when you try to put it back in.. i speak from experience.
