HI guys,
I've just bought myself a 1986 Audi 80 GL and I love it, but... The rear shocks are stuffed, it has 40mm lowering springs on, but standard shocks. So, I need to replace the shocks and would like to replace them with shorter shocks so they don't go again. I have been browsing Venom Motorsport and have found these: http://www.venommotorsport.com/manuf...=Audi&model=80 can anyone tell me if any of those would fit my car? they only list 86 onwards (i.e. typ 89) or 78 - 86 in 2.0 or 2.2 engine size but mine is a b2, 1.8. Oh, and another quick one - where can I get a set of anti-roll bar bushes for it? I found these on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...=STRK:MEWAX:IT but I have a suspiscion the inner bushes are wrong for my car. Many thanks, Mark. |

they are for a different type of ARB.
Your ARB doesn't have drop links. The 90 and Coupe quattro does. Try Powerflex or Superflex. I think you have either a 21 or22mm ARB. |

Thanks for the quick response, but my ARB does have drop links.
looking on ETKA, the drop link bushes are the same, but the inner bushes have different part numbers, but obviously I was hoping they would still fit. |
