Question wrong KV spark plugs?

just had a look at the plugs in my newest CQ, and they are single prong bosch WR6DC super plus ?? are there the right ones

Because the ones I bought for my other CQ were 3 prongs bosch W6DTC .

& just to confuse things even more, my 2.5 RE2500 engine came with some 4 prong bosch super 4's (can't remember exact name)

whos right? lol

The correct plugs for a standard KV engine should have the 3 prong Bosch W6DTC Part number 241 240 558 about £10 or less for a set of 5

You should be able to look up the cross match te 4 pring plugs in your RE2500 to see if they are similar in specs to the W6DTC

even tho they are not the 3 prong jobbys , the car goes really well. faster than my old CQ when it still had the standard engine.

W6DTC's are three prong plugs, 20VCQDriver is saying that they are good for both engines that you have.....

Warning if you ever try and order them from Audi (and they can be as cheap as elsewhere) they will give you the wrong plugs as the family album only goes as far as 85 for the plugs, you have to look at the 90Q to get the right ones as listed in my first response.

Otherwise you will end up with a set of single prong beru plugs which are for a Mercedes (Beru don't even list the supplied plug for any Audi on their site!!!)

You can also use NGK BP6-ET (the et part is "Earth triple" three pronged) or Champion N7BYC.

The W6DTC plugs always worked the best in all the 5 cylinder non turbo engines I have owned. Tried NGK once but got poor running issues as the miles piled on, so went back to the Bosch triples...
