Default BBQ Inferno!

Im Not making this up honest. Wife got home this afternoon went and sat on beach with Maddie(4) and my Niece(2).
Got home. fancy a bbq darling, lovely!
Gas BBQ called Gran Cannion from B&Q purchased last summer.
Thought I would pre-heat.
My sister shouted to me whilst in the kitchen "dom the bbq smells wrong"

Went out side and the whole thing was in flames, I mean the whole thing... The plastic, the tray, the hoses everything!!!

Shit..... what the f do I do... I need to disconnect the gas bottle or we are really in the shit.
Ran over disconnected the bottle, burnt my hand really badly then ran inside grabbed a CO2 ex and put the bloody thing out....

What should I do, Im thinking call B&Q in the morning and lodge a major complaint. I have taken pictures of the burnt cyclinder and f bbq.

Shit myself to be honest, kids playing around it and everything, and my hand hurts....

make sure the sausages are cooked all the way through....
no thats a bit facetious- lodge a complaint- a possible recall may save others
can you post pics,#and as recently qualified first-aider (last week!) if your hands still burning hold it in cold water for 10 mins and dont put any creams on it. If you need to go to hospital, cling film is good to prevent infection- just dont wrap it around your hand preventing swelling, wrap it longitudinal (from finger tips to wrist)

Cheers Stu, I hate burns... Bloody great blister the size of a 50 piece on my hand...Should I pop it or will that make things worse?

i was told I'd forget at least 70% about what i was told. we did burns on thursday and i seem to have forgot at least 80%
I think thats 2nd degree if blisters appear. if they're as big as that i think you should have them looked at. at least phone nhs direct for a (far) more informed opinion!
