Default Anyone in to Hot Rods/Street Rods etc

well, there's a new forum for you
http://www.rodsnsods.co.uk/forum/index.php

after the huge FAIL (read politics!) of the NSRA forum, Si (aka Roadrunna) built Rods N Sods. Only 4 days old and getting huge amount of posts and hits already!!
The way it's going, it will over take this place in it's first month!
By the way, Si (aka Roadrunna) is the guy responsible for building this place!!

I reckon hot rods are the ultimate car art form. I personally have a thing for rodded Ford Anglia's (the sixties version with the rear wings, not the earlier populars). I love the thought of a big cossie engine in those things

that's about the sum of it. You get an allowance of 25 posts and after that you have to pay £30 a year to partake in idle banter. From yesterday, if you hadn't paid, they'd changed everyones user status to guest. Nice!

I've always been a huge fan of hot rods & custom cars. I've been a lurker on the NSRA site for a year or so but never posted up, just go on for a nosey sometimes.
So are we saying that If I post up more than 30 times on there, I'll be hit with a £30 bill in order to remain eligable on there??

I love Anglia's. Got two of em. One van & one saloon. Strangely enough, the saloon is a Cossie turbo'd project. Half finished at the mo. SLB was a nice car. However my inspiration comes from another similar (but far more mental) one from way back in the early 90's.

I'm considering selling my unfinished Cossie project at the mo due to having too many cars and not enough space/time for them all...
