cheap oil

Just bought 20 litres of Chevron 15/40 motor oil from Costco for £18.99 + VAT = £22.31

It meets VW 505.00 spec.

In comparison, I nearly bought 5 litres of Quantum 15/40 (blue can) for £16 + VAT... (from VWS in Bristol)

GSF don't seem to have Quantum on their website anymore, but Fuchs 15/40 is £10.10 + VAT.

Costco also sell a diesel oil (but I didn't take a not of the grade or spec) but it was the same price.

I'm going to be putting it in my Audi 100 and Audi 80, and the other Audi 80 prior to removing the engine.

20 litres for £18.99!! Bargainous!!! Shame we haven't got a Costco near us. Got a Makro though but the oil ain't that cheap there.

Mobil1 is about that for a litre!!!

Well, I'm gonna make it worth your while to make a trip to Costco sometime soon.

Mobil 1 is £19.99 for 4 (yes FOUR) litres.............

+VAT of course.

I think it is 0W30, but I could be wrong....
