Default April Showers?

Was sat in the Garden , drinking tea , enjoying the Spring sunshine yesterday (Sunday) , contemplating getting Moneypit out of storage.......
Then got up Monday morning to this..........

It only ever occurs when he thinks about driving Moneypit....

Yah I think that's pretty normal for Lofty's area of the North American continent.

ISTR you having heavy snow a couple of days before we went to the April Breakfast Club in 2008, where, ironically, we had heavy snow... (The one and only time I'll ever see a Merc McLaren SLR doing doe-nuts in the snow!)...

It's the joys of a temperate climate....

snow....what's that?.

apparently it rarely drops below about 8 deg in even in deepest winter up here in the top of North Island. But as it's my first full NZ winter this year no doubt we'll have a ton of the stuff!.
