Has anyone got any tips or know of a product to remove unwanted stickers,without damaging the paintwork on my lovely 90 20v Sport?

rty a hair dryer to warm up the adhesive first "but for gods sake dont use a paint gun" then use upvc cleaner to remove the glue resadue works a treat .

hair dryer and some tar and glue remover. Autosmarts Tardis does the trick just nicely to get rid of the stick residue.

intensive tar remover by auto glym should work
or if you got tardis like coxy said that would be better |

Ive used a kettle of boiling water in the past. Works a treat.

i use a hairdryer ( usually singe my fingers ) and then get the adhesive off with acetone ( nail varnish remover !) or neat alcohol ( ethanol B ) from work

Also you could use TFR if you have some. It softenes the glue residue for easier removal with your finger nail or a plastic scraper.

I bet you still have nightmares about removing all those daft stickers from your old URS4! It looked SO much better once you had removed them. Is it still pure, or has it's flanks been violated with more tat by it's current owner?!
