If you look at this one, you can see the extent of the factory to the north-west.

Went there last Easter on Easter Sunday.
It's about a 10 minute taxi ride from Ingolstadt station.
We caught the train from Munich to Ingolstadt which took about 35 minutes.
It's only a few pounds each to go round the museum.
There's a few restaurants as well there so you can grab a nice meal and make a day of it.
We were all done in about 4 hours with dinner but well worth it!

You could spend a small fortune in the shop though!

My mate from Uni spent a whole year there for part of his degree, spent most of it bombing around the test track testing the 1998 S4

Just me and a mate have shelved the planned trip to Worthsee cos of budgets and decided to do the new Porsche museum and then travel across to see the Audi Museum. Do you think its a worthwhile trip? Also not so far for Poopcoupe!

Would be worth doing the both.
A long way to travel if you are going just to the museum, but it's one of those must do things before you die!
