Default Breaking 1997 C4 30 Valve quattro.

I'm currently breaking a 1997 30 Valve quattro Saloon and have previous broken another 2.6 Saloon so I have a great many C4 parts to sell.

Both cars are Red, will check the paint code but I think they only did one red at that time.

I own and an keeping a 1992 C4 2.8 Avant quattro long term a lot of the quattro specific parts that are interchangeable are being retained for that car so I can keep it on the road indefinitely. I'm also planning on fitting the air-conditioning system from the 30 valve to my Avant so no parts from this system are available.

Stuff I could do with getting shot of will be listed first as I only have so much space.

The bare shell. Non sunroof car, no damage or rust, come's with V5, cracked windscreen but all other glass good and included. £250 ono.

Black cloth sports interior in really nice condition, drivers seat needs a clean but the bolsters are still nice and solid, no holes or damage, Walnut door trims, £150.

Near mint set of 15" wheels complete with center caps with good (min 5mm tread) 205/60/15 tires, I can also chuck an extra wheel in as a spare but this will be bare and not at tidy as the rest, £100.

Doors, all four are good, £50 each.

Window regulators all tested and working well, £50 each.

Bonnet, good condition no dents or rust. £100 ono.

Tailgate, again good condition. £50.

Steering wheel, sports type, the leather does have one small area of surface wear but I think this could be sorted fairly easily. £50.

Airbag to go with the above, £50.

Passenger airbag, £50.

Mint grey head lining, no sagging at all. £100 ono.

Clocks, really nice condition with good ambient temperature display, these are the later digital type and are on around 180K miles, £100 ono.

2.8 30 valve ACK engine without ancillary's was running really well, has covered 180K with FSH. £250 ono.

2.6 12 valve ABC engine without ancillary's, only done 120K miles runs really nicely. £200 ono.

quattro Gearbox, five speed to go with the ACK engine, functioning perfectly, not notchy, no funny noises. £150 ono.

FWD Gearbox to go with the ABC engine, again no faults. £100 ono.

Good FWD fuel tank, £50.

Front brake calipers complete with good pads and carrier's. £50 each.

Front cross member, £40.

Engine ECU £100 ono.

Front bumper, no damage. £100 ono.

Rear bumper, no damage £80 ono.

Bare front struts, no dampers, £50 the pair.

Front subframe, rust free and generally good condition, £50.

A great many more parts are available, such as all interior trim and door seals etc. Please feel free to ask if there's something you require.

NOT available wings, carpet and fuel tank.

Collection strongly preferred on the larger items, though if buyers work with me I can package stuff and and send via courier.

Smaller items will be sent by Parcelforce tracked 48 or Royal mail first class recorded depending on the item.

If you'd like photo's of a part please ask and I'll post some.

Will also send parts to Europe, indeed anywhere in the world, buyers are responsible for any import taxes.

I forgot to add that if the engine doesn't sell very soon I'll be stripping it and selling it in bit's.

It's already had over a month on eBay without a sniff of interest (apart from individual parts) so I expect this is what I'll end up doing. So if your after just a sender or say a cylinder head please let me know.

Bumping this as I'd like the shell gone it has until next week before the 9" grinder comes out.

I'll take £100 for it which is what I'd get weighing it in.

Interior is sold.

Aircon parts are also now available apart from the control unit. As much as I'd like to retro fit the system to my Avant too many hose's and small parts are near the end of the of their life's to make this a good idea.

Another bump as I want the shell gone, I'll take £50 cash on collection for it as it saves me two grinder blades and a horrid job...

As I mentioned the interior has sold and been collected.

Open to offers on all parts.

Here's the body yesterday after I got it stacked up on some wheels to drop the last couple of bits of suspension, can't get the rear bumper off until I'm clear of the fence.

What’s the plan for the rear axle assembly? It looks like it has the ARB setup, but hard to be sure from the photo.

It's a quattro and has a fairly complicated rear suspension set up that kind of incorporates an ARB, I'm retaining a lot of the mechanicals to keep my C4 Avant on the road for the foreseeable future.

Ok. It’s the same set up on the V8 as well, but not all we’re spec’d with ARB.

I’ve collected one setup, anyway. If I get back to the UK for long enough, I may get around to doing something with it.

The strut housing's will be the same, I suspect the dampers are as well, the V6 and five pot engines weigh much the same. Bloody heavy, I hurt my elbow moving the one from this car by myself, still annoying me now.

Hanuman, I see, have you got an S6+? The 30V seem to be quite similar in spec to an S6 just without the better brakes.

No, just the 3 V8 (D11 type), the 100 quattro, and of course the UR.
