Smile UR Brake Calipers

Hi everyone, currently on ebay is a set of "UR" Brake calipers (Girling 54) will they fit my 1985 Cq, next year I will be fitting a WR engine and would like to upgrade the brakes. Any advice would be appreciated

i think you may need the carriers too as well as the discs, i was sent 20v discs once by mistake and they would not fit, check with pete at quattrocorner
i may be wrong tho

You'll also need to change the hubs to 5x112 bolt fixings to get the discs to fit...

Then there's issues with the driveshafts fitting the hubs... You'll probably be better off waiting until you change the engine, then swap the whole front end... Engine, gearbox, suspension, subframe and brakes in one hit.
